2018 MXIS Music Culminating Activity

Today, the school held its Music Culminating Activity to celebrate the intensive trainings and rehearsals during music classes. The activity was spearheaded by the IB MYP and DP Music Instructor, T. Eric Torrejos. Teachers and students from Grades 6 to 11 collaborated and shared their talents in music. The presentation was diversified from solo to band performances, from classical to modern pop songs, from drums and lyres to keyboard and strings. The musical presentation demonstrated the versatility in skills of MXIS students and the IB Learner Profile such as being knowledgeable in music, good communicator, open-minded and risk-taker. The activity was deemed a success. See you again next school year for another musical extravaganza.
