Who invented the popcorn!?

We all enjoy popcorn don't we? They come in all sorts of flavors: Chocolate, Butter, Caramel, Cheese, I could go on and on until the next day but I won't ( you get the idea )

Oh well, one day I wondered, WHO INVENTED THIS HEAVENLY SNACK? WHO!

BAM BA DAM BAM BAM the Mexicans! They didn't invent it actually, it's a natural plant/food, I can't say they invented it. They discovered popcorn but it was never popular until the 19th century when Charles Cretors invented the first popcorn machine.

They still continue the business btw so if any of you wants a popcorn machine, I recommend the Cretors' 👍🏻

So, let's get on with a little summary about the business. Cretors, a Chicago candy store owner created the steam powered machines for roasting nuts and eventually applied it to the corn kernels (popcorn). By the end of the century, Cretors has successfully created street carts equipped with steam powered popcorn makers which is when popcorn went viral and famous.
